本课题组博士研究生谢文召同学获评校2023年学术希望之星称号。（2023年12月）
谢文召与生物信息学结缘于本科期间的挑战杯，为了自己的科研梦，他以综合第一的成绩跨考进入华农生物信息学；科研路上，他一直秉持“勤读力耕，立己达人”的校训精神，带头组建了生信小课堂，用信标的光芒为他人带去帮助，让自己在大我中引领小我，在小我中成就大我。
与亚利桑那大学（Monica A. Schmidt副教授）等合作，完成构建大豆品种Jack的完整参考基因组（全部20条端粒到端粒染色体序列），注释出63,703个基因（包括337个以前未解决的基因），相关研究成果发表于《Plant Communications》。【博士研究生黄臆丞同学参与生物信息分析工作】（2023年11月）
本课题组博士研究生于志超同学获得2023年研究生国家奖学金。（2023年10月）
根据《生科院2023年研究生国家奖学金评审实施细则》，经个人申请，材料评审、汇报答辩等各个环节，学院研究生国家奖学金评审委员会评审，确定9位同学获得2023年研究生国家奖学金（博士组）。
PhD student ZHOU/Run and master students LIU/Sishi, GAO/Tingting, Han/Wanxin, LI/Mengyuan and LI/Yan, successfully passed the defense of their degree thesis on May 21, 2023.

与沙特阿卜杜拉国王科技大学（Rod A. Wing教授）、中国农业大学（郭伟龙副教授）、国际水稻所、冷泉港实验室等多所高校与研究机构合作，我们以亚洲栽培稻亚群代表性种质为基础，构建并综合分析了亚洲稻泛基因组倒位图谱，搭建了首个基于同源基因簇的泛基因组数据库Rice Gene Index。相关研究分别发表于《Nature Communications》和《Molecular Plant》。【博士研究生于志超、硕士研究生张雨露、李梦圆等同学参与生物信息分析工作】（2023年3月）
